Direction In Prayer Child and Mom

 A child can when you are a Christian cause change even in how you as a mom pray during stressful times not getting along in a marriage.  This not only changed how I prayed but a time of giving instruction to my son.  I am guessing he was about 10.  As I said there was a lot of arguing within the marriage and I would finally separate myself and go outside and sit.  A cooling off period.

On one occasion my youngest son came outside where I was and told me he couldn't stand his dad and I arguing.  So I said to him teaching him to intercede for his parents.  I said when you hear something, then pray for your mom and dad that God would bring peace and quiet to the home and to them.  So he said he would.  

Well still not settled the next day again arguing and I separated myself outside which really doesn't settle anything it just stops arguing for a time is all.  Here comes my son outside all excited he had done what I said and God made it quiet and peaceful instantly.  Very excited his prayer was heard.

I don't even remember what it was about, but it was something neither one of us wanted to budge on.  So I complained to the Lord quoting Him peace scripture and also the scripture about his yoke easy and burden light.  I was then led to pray that God change someones heart, if I was wrong change my heart was my request, and if my husband was wrong change his heart so that we walk in agreement and have peace.  I don't remember who's heart changed, I think that particular time it was his.  I learned to pray that prayer first thing then whenever we were in total disagreement on things.  I know my heart was changed too many times.  

We have to be willing for our hearts to change also.  If we only think we are correct there will always be strife.  I learned too, to include myself for a change in heart.  We didn't argue about that grave of items, so it was never anything that either one of us could change and be ok with.  God can change hearts and I would use this at times I felt it was needed.

So not only was it a time to instruct and teach a child but it was also a growing time for myself in prayer.  I would also ask the Lord to give my husband wisdom, was also part of the prayer.  We lived more at peace in the house more continually. It is always a wonder and awe to me when the Lord shows up with direction.

Vengeance Is Mine

We had moved from Arizona to Kentucky as husband was a contractor. He had worked there on a 6 month contract about a year prior to this time when we in fact made the move. They wanted him in Kentucky. He was working for them again from home in Arizona prior to the move. He had asked a friend from KY to see if they could find a house for us to rent. They found an older home up on a hill for us, so we sent a deposit to hold it till we could get there to see it. Less than a week and we had moved, driving a Ryder truck with our belongs in. We had left the home in Arizona vacant and up for sale.

When we got to town, we drove over to view the house that we had a deposit down on. It was a nice older house inside from what you could see, but my husband opened the electrical box inside in the house and woe what a mess, looked like a rats nest of long wire twisted all up stuffed inside it. We refused the home and asked for our money back. That house wasn't fit for anyone to live in. I had taken pictures of it while we were inside inspecting. We attempted to find a way to get our money back and found no help.

We found in the paper that same day another smaller house with a single garage and were able to get it immediately it was a newer home. We got our things moved in and filled the garage with extra things that would not fit in this small home. I was thankful to get a place that fast. I was the one looking into getting our money back when the Lord said to me: "vengeance is mine, saith the Lord" well I knew the scripture:

Nahum 1:2 (KJV) God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

This is one of the few scriptures in the epistles of Paul that he said "saith the Lord". I stropped looking to try to get our money back and wondered if I would ever hear how the Lord would handle it.

A couple of weeks later I heard what happened to the man and the house!! A water main inside that locked up home had burst and flooded and rouined the house, it was not caught till water that would escape out the door had finally crossed the road down that hill. The water bill was tremendous plus it rouined the floors etc inside the home. I was like wow Lord thank you that I even got to hear and thank you for watching over us and not permitting another to even move into that place. Praise the Lord!

God Confirms Instruction To My Children

When God confirms instruction it is an awe and wonder to me. Of course I was in the word but still younger, my eldest son had just gotten his drivers license. He had asked to use the car he would be the driver for a few friends. There was a party they were talking about going to at a friend of theirs from school. This would be the first time my son would be the driver with his new license.

As a parent mom, I knew it was time for my son to start paying attention to what my mom always called a check in your spirit.. meaning something isn't setting right here. You couldn't pin point exactly what it was.. a feeling etc. I had to try to explain this to my son.

So I reminded him of all the times he and his brother would get upset at me asking me why can't I go, why, why. They never got an answer back then other than because I said so!! I told him all those times I said no, I would get a check in my spirit that something was not right. I couldn't explain it but you would experience it with your children, then you would gain more understanding. I said I won't be there and you are going to have to listen to the spirit within you. If there is not peace about it then it is not God. So a peace should always be with you.

We let our son take the car and be the driver. About 2 hours later, our son came home and sat in the living room chair, quietly. I said what happened? He said when he got to the party he didn't feel right but couldn't talk the others into not going in as that was the plan. So my son told them he was not going, and he would come back later to pick them up, and he was just going to go driving around. When he got back to pick them up, there was a police patty wagon loading up all those kids, so he came home.

Praise the Lord and the listening to that quickening the check in his spirit, Almighty God made a imprint to me, nothing I could have done could have done, and was done with instruction right away.  That is God to me people, and I was in awe and thankful.

How a Child Explained the Trinity

I was young and my sons were young, I didn't know how to explain Father, Son and Holy Spirit all being one. I was finally led to ask them telling them that God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit were just ONE God, did they understand that? I was in awe of God when I heard the response, they said yes they understood it, I ask how? They said it is like the transformer, a toy they had that was just 1 toy but turned into 2 other things having 3 different looks and actions. I was like wow Lord you were right:

Matthew 11:25 (KJV) At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

They had used a toy to explain the ONE in 3.

Decreeing Something Is It Ok To Do?

Well I never thought about it before till the Lord gave me a two word search "decree light". Well there was just one verse with those two exact words.

Job 22:28 (KJV) Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Well I had learned and grew in the Lord well enough to stay in "out of the mouth of God" as Messiah said. Messiah also said "It is written" and "It is Finished" so this was my argument to the Lord and I told Him I wouldn't do it for these reasons. The church at that time was really pushing people to decree things and I didn't agree with it for the reasons I stated to Father. I take out of the mouth of God to him when praying for things as well. Scriptures said by God or Messiah (God) are more powerful words than my words.

I had been walking a long time and the Lord then next with my discomfort started giving me words for scripture after scripture of different prophets, till I had a full page of them!! I told Father I would decree His words until He released me, so I read them out loud each morning decreeing them. Once released from it I deleted the page it went on for I don't remember how long weeks I think.

So should a person decree things, my answer would be to do it the way Father then did with me, find His words to stand on not mans words in scripture. I felt I had taken up the cross and followed Him, not following me.

The thing that always stood out to me in the book of Job is what stopped the attacks on him:

Job 42:10 (KJV) And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Do we pray for our friends?

Child Lost in desert heat life and death

Father had reminded me of this miracle with my word sharpening word for today.

I had posted one testimony that involved my son and a neighbor's child and him seeing a demon in my son's closet A couple years later, her family and friends went on holiday camping in the sand dunes in Yuma, AZ over the Easter holiday. They would take their sand railes and ATV's to ride the sand dunes while there camping out in that desert. She believed in the Lord but was not brought up with it nor was in scriptures at all. Should she want to know something or have a question she would ask me.

Easter Sunday and I got a phone call, they did not have cell phones back then people had, so you had to drive to town to make a call. Long distance and even toll call charges were back in those days. All upset she said Cody was lost in the dunes, had taken off on his small ATV and they couldn't find him, the full group went out looking I don't remember for how long before going to town to report it. She called me asking for prayer and if I remember right she even asked me to call my parents, which was my custom back then anyway. They had been told a child doesn't last long out there with no water etc. and put up a helicopter air search for the child. I of course prayed and called my parents to pray for him.

She would be fed information, the helicopter had spotted the ATV but the child was no where to be found so searching continued. For myself just trusting in the Lord, I didn't hear anything till she called me later that day they were in the hospital and she let me know they had found the child. He was totally dehydrated, and put him on IVs and they told her that it was all the candy he had eaten (sugar) they felt that even kept him alive.

Praise the Lord for answered prayer, and yes your prayers can be miraculous on behalf of family and friends even if your only calling is a wife, mother staying home raising children.

Lost in Blizzard Life and Death

Man survives 2 weeks in car

The link above is to one of the many news articles regarding my nephew who was lost in a blizzard in the mountains 2 weeks. I was not called right away on it. It must have been a couple days later I was called asked to pray and was told Daryl was lost not able to be reached to even check for him.

When I was called I immediately ask Father to put a hedge of protection around Daryl (Eze 22:30, Job 1:10) and to let someone get through to him and find him. Things went on so long, yet every time my nephew popped into my mind I would lift him up with the same request from Father. It was truly a miracle, you can read the story if interested. God is so good and I praise the Lord for the protection He provided and answer to prayer.  Not only was he found but didn't loose any fingers or toes.

Life and Death Heart Attack

Walking with the Lord since my 20's, I of course had learned to call upon the Lord myself first thing. Not call asking for prayer till after I had prayed myself calling on the Lord. Then reaching out to others asking for their prayers I would then do. When you are in emergency type situations, your first reactions might be all you have time for.

Yes many survive heart attacks, really only a specialist knows the difference in types of heart attacks. Myself and most have no clue really. I got a phone call from Ray a friend of my husband, they had gone golfing that morning and played a big course and walked it, pulling their clubs behind them. Kentucky is full of hills on large golf courses especially. Ray called said: "They are taking Bob to the hospital, he told me to call an ambulance. He was so weak he had me drive us back home to my house". I told him I would meet him there we hung up. First thing out of my mouth to the Lord was: "Father put a hedge of protection around Bob (Eze 22:30, Job 1:10)"

Now I was closer to the hospital than they were so I knew I had a bit of time. Next thing I did was call my believing sister for prayer telling her about the call. She prayed on the phone with me and prayed part of the same thing I had prayed plus added more. I then went to the hospital. Now I had a peace after doing and praying, so felt the Lord was in control as He always is.

Ray got to the hospital and was filling me in on their golfing. Bob had to quit before finishing the 18 holes. Bob had arrived, but they wouldn't let us back there as the Doctors were waiting his arrival from the call put out by ambulance drivers. Ray had told me they did EKG on him and gave his some baby aspirin to shew up. We waited in the waiting area they had sent us to, it was a couple hours before we heard. The Doctor came out and told me Bob was in a waiting area to be taken to intensive care. Emergency surgery was done while the other Doctor was keeping Bob alive with heart pressing with his hands. Bob had had a massive heart attack and died on the table while in the presence of the 2 doctors, a specialist on call and another doctor helping.  One Doctor keeping him alive while the other did and put an emergency stent in.

I do not understand even to this day because I have no understanding of heart attacks the severity and miracle that did happen. It was a miracle and news of it got out in the hospital staff people men and women would have to come see and meet this man. That I don't think happens, even the ambulance drivers came to see him again in intensive care. Some ask Bob if he was a spiritual person. What a question, so whatever my lack of understanding, this was a never happen type thing.

I finally the next day met the Doctor who did the emergency surgery. He had a machine brought in and told me this would show him the damaged area's of the heart. Shocked he was doing the test and just a tiny front portion even showed up. More staff people came to see Bob.

Bob when released did the routine therapy exercising all go through. We would see the specialist about once a week. Finally the last testing was at the Doctors office with a treadmill and all wired up with different equipment. He passed the tests and the Doctor said to Bob and I he was surprised but there was no evidence of even having a heart attack. The Doctor said the only way someone would even know was by reading his medical charts. Nothing showed. The Doctor said Bob was the reason he became a doctor!! What a statement, I have no idea what he totally meant by that comment.

The Lord protected in all areas and it was a witness to many at the hospital. Praise the Lord for being in charge and the miraculous healing with no damage to the heart. Praise the Lord.

A Testimony and witness of the Power, Love of the Lord

The Lord has blessed me with many things and even what seem small should be recognized by people. This testimony however is a great one to me and saving of my child's life. It might help to have some background about me. I was raised a Christian with parents that followed the Lord. When younger and married you tend to get busy with things in your life and the Lord sometimes gets put on the back burner so to speak. My parents would always have the Lord in conversations, I knew the Lord and had quite a bit of knowledge in things from my rearing.

I had asked my neighbor to watch my sons while I quick ran to the store. I had 2 children, sons, one 6 and one 3 years of age. When I got back my neighbor was upset came running, said my youngest son and her son were jumping on her couch and my son Joshua fell off it and hit the table seemed fine but the side of his neck got very very swollen. Now, my mother- in-law, was the supervisor of surgery at the hospital, so I called her. She instructed me to bring her Joshua up to surgery. I did so and she had one of the surgens look at him a Dr. Cohen. Dr. Cohen wanted him admitted to the hospital and tests were run on Joshua. He kept swelling and come to find out he had a staff infection in the blood. Dr Cohen did emergency surgery on him and put a drainage tube in the side of his neck.

Joshua continued to swell, they had started antibiotics right away IV on him. The next day as I spent the night his full face was swollen you couldn't recognize the child and he wasn't talking. I stayed all day till my husband got there to sit with him so I could go eat and get cleaned up and come back to the hospital to spend the night.

Upon getting home I noticed the house cleaned for me and knew my husband didn't do it. It was my best friend who was also watching our eldest son while I was at the hospital. I called my parents to inform them knowing they would pray. All the sudden a knock on the door and enters my girl friend, I think I thanked her for the cleaning but don't remember. She came to tell me what had happened while she was cleaning. She had brought over and sent to Josh's room to play, her youngest son, Cody who was 2 1/2 years old. She said all the sudden Cody yelled for her and said: "there's a devil man in Josh's closet". My girl friend said she didn't even know he knew the word devil so couldn't believe it. Cody stayed by her, she quick finished and went home. She knew my family relationship with the Lord, felt she needed to let me know. I thanked her told her I was going to get a shower and go back to the hospital and my husband would be back home, I would be spending the night again.

After she left I jumped up and grabbed my Bible and went yelling through my house binding Satan casting him out of my house and away from my family. I put my Bible on the kitchen counter with my purse to take it with me and went got my shower and ate something and headed back to the hospital. When I arrived I asked my husband if Josh spoke to him anything and he said no. He looked even more swollen... I brought the Bible to the hospital and set it at the table and my husband left to go take care of our eldest son.

It was like I heard my mom, she often would say "there is life in the word" so I sat down and dropped open my Bible, it ended up in Matthew somewhere I don't remember but I just started reading out loud. Dr Cohen stopped by to check on him before leaving the hospital for the night and said he would see me in the morning. I started reading out loud until I fell asleep myself. All the sudden I heard Josh say "mom why did you stop reading!!" Shocked I was and a miracle had happened my son spoke, but it was dark so didn't notice the swelling.  I continued reading out loud till I fell asleep again.

Dr Cohen showed up very early woke me turning lights on and was shocked to see my Joshua and said to me: "I thought we would loose him" That was really when I knew it was life and death.  I was shocked also all the swelling was gone.  Praise the Lord.   Life was truly in the word and I received a miracle from the Lord.  I just Love Him.  His blood tests were good and I was able to take him home.

NATIONS RELIGION CHALLENGE

IDOLS OF THE WORLD

We call them religions of the world, in scriptures they are just called idols. All from what I have seen, not one nation has ever put their royal seal so to speak on the nations religion. We have Moses who did and yes he was a King, yet not called nor recognized as one by the nation of Israel. Yet Almighty God made clear within scriptures I believe because He knew them Israelites wouldn't recognize him as their king, made known Jeshurun he was King of and did write the Law. So Moses a King, more than a Prophet as spoke face to face...and a Levite the chose over first born God chose for himself. Them not getting inheritance of land as others but their inheritance was Almighty God himself.Their job to minister unto Almighty God. Even a stranger and sojourner could choose that tribe and become one, them blessed greater more like gospels they were people. Didn't have to do all that stuff and could I think only go to one feast a year or something. Plus much lighter with law against them punishment, no knowlege of had So really more like gospel. You could become any tribe you wanted to live with, a *mixed multitude* coming out of Egypt all did this.

KING JAMES OF GREAT BRITTAN THE KJV BIBLE

I see there were 2 King James that did this it says James 1 and James 6. So we have the King James version of the Bible. So to me the only scriptures even recognizing a religion by the highest order were 3 Kings but 2 nations. I could be wrong but have never heard of all the different idols of the world any putting country seal on a book. It might be interesting to see the difference with England.. did one have less new testament?
